Deirdre has lived in Fernwood for 25 years. She studied art at the Victoria College of Art, graduating in 2009.
Her main interest is acrylic and oil painting in an expressionistic style.
Her studio is in her garden and overlooks a small pond.
She is currently working on paintings with figurative images and curvilinear form.
Her hues are saturated to express the passion and imagination of the variety of subjects.
